ORIGINS

The Tasty Brothers consist of Cory Nichols and Trey Call, who have been friends for many years. They met on a gig that Cory was playing while Trey was mixing front of house. Since then, they have been playing and subbing on each others gigs/projects from time to time. It only makes sense that they would eventually team up together for this project.

WHAT DO THE TASTY BROTHERS DO?

We are a writing/production team. We’re currently focused on releasing singles with various artists/singers/writers. We enjoy the collaborative process and are able to provide a space for artist to branch out and feel comfortable sharing their ideas.

WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?

To fight sadness of course. This project began in the beginning of the pandemic as a way to not go insane during this chaotic and unpredictable time. Our lemonade as it were. After working on some tunes we wondered, who was going to sing on this or write lyrics? So we called on some friends to help us out. As it turns out, the tunes weren’t half bad.

WHY WORK WITH US?

We’d be an excellent resource for artists that want to branch out into a different space. Something sonically adventurous, something out of one’s wheelhouse, something not so Nashville.

ARE WE FAIR TO ARTISTS?

Totally! We split writing credit 50/50 with the artist. We will also do our best to promote the product with the resources that we have. However, we do ask the artist to help promote the project as well. We’d hope that all involved would proud enough of the ending result to share in the labour of putting out the word.
